Spooky live-band karaoke night with Halloween classics, drinks specials and fancy dress encouraged at The Button Factory.
Bandeoke is back at The Button Factory on Saturday 31 October for a Halloween Special, their take on the live-band karaoke format. If you've never come across it, the premise is straightforward: you pick a song, and instead of a backing track, a live band plays it for you while you sing. It's the same as karaoke, just with real musicians behind you rather than a machine.
This particular night is a spooky edition, so the setlist leans into Halloween classics — the kind of songs that fit the date. The organisers describe it as a night for music lovers and fans of all genres, so it's not just for one particular crowd. Fancy dress is encouraged, which is a good excuse to lean into the theme if you're in the mood for it. There are drinks specials running throughout the night too.

It's a free entry, so you can just turn up on the night without worrying about tickets. If you're coming with a group, booking is available, which is worth doing if you want to make sure you've got a spot together. The night runs from 7:00 PM on Saturday 31 October through to midnight, so it's a full evening rather than a quick stop. The Button Factory is at 25 Frederick Street in Birmingham city centre, easy enough to get to from the station.
