Third edition of the UK garage and bodyshop trade show, with more than 550 brands from over 25 countries and around 15,000 visitors.
Automechanika Birmingham returns to the NEC from 8 to 10 June 2027, part of the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, which is now in its third edition. It's organised by Messe Frankfurt UK and has become a key meeting place for the UK's vehicle workshop, body repair and detailing sectors. The organisers describe it as an automotive trade show like no other in the UK, and they're expecting more than 550 leading brands from over 25 countries to exhibit, with around 15,000 senior UK-based visitors coming through the doors.
It's not just about the stands, though. The show runs an official Student Programme that has welcomed more than 250 students for four consecutive years, and it's served as a platform to tackle some of the bigger challenges facing the sector, like Right to Repair and access to vehicle data. It's also been used to introduce initiatives like SERMI, so there's a fair bit of industry-wide conversation happening alongside the trade displays.

If you're wondering about the scale, the 2026 edition drew 6,098 professionals, which was an 18% increase on 2024. That growth gives you a sense of how the event has been building since it started. The 2027 dates are 8 to 10 June at the NEC Birmingham.
