In-person acrylic floral painting class suitable for all skill levels, run by artist Emma Richter at The Dark Horse in Moseley.
Emma Richter is running an acrylic painting workshop at The Dark Horse in Moseley on Tuesday 1 December, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. It's a two-hour session, and the focus is floral painting — so you'll be spending the evening working on flowers rather than landscapes or portraits.
Richter describes it as a cosy, in-person class, and she's clear that it's suitable for all skill levels. That means it's as much for someone who hasn't picked up a brush since school as it is for someone who paints in their spare time. You don't need to come in with a portfolio or any particular experience; you just turn up and get stuck in.
Because it's a guided session, you'll be working through the process with Richter there to walk you through it. The floral theme gives the whole evening a bit of a focus, so you're not just staring at a blank canvas wondering where to start. By the time the two hours are up, you'll have something finished to take home with you.
