Aatif Nawaz: AATIFicial Intelligence

Aatif Nawaz brings his new solo show, AATIFicial Intelligence, to The Glee Club on Saturday 23 January 2027. It's a brand new hour, and the title gives away the territory: he's looking at what it means to be human in a world that's leaning more and more on artificial intelligence, and what the real cost of that dependence might be. He works from his usual place — storytelling, sharp observations and quick wit — to pick it apart.

If you're not familiar with him, Nawaz is an award-winning comedian and a BBC Test Match Special broadcaster. He created and starred in the BBC's Muzlamic, and he's built a following across acting, filmmaking, radio presenting and writing. This is a solo show, so it's just him on stage with the new material. The critics have been on it already: Edinburgh Festivals Magazine called it 'consistently hilarious', Radio Times described it as 'punchy, funny', and HuffPost said his intelligent observations 'will have you choking with laughter'.

The night is presented by LuvEntertainment, a multiple award-winning comedy events provider that's been operating since 2009. The show is for ages 18 and over only, so there are no refunds for under-18s, and you'll need photo ID if you're under 25. The Glee Club is at 70 Hurst Street, Birmingham B5 4TD, and the show runs from 8:45 PM to 10:30 PM, with doors opening at 7:45 PM.
