A Christmas Afternoon of Song & Dance

A Christmas Afternoon of Song & Dance comes to the Great Barr Conservative Club on Sunday 6 December, starting at 14:00. It's an afternoon built around a mix of swing, soul and rock and roll, played alongside Christmas favourites. The whole thing is staged as a show you can dance along to, sing along with or simply watch from your seat, so you can pick your own pace.

Running alongside the music is a charity raffle, with all the proceeds going to Birmingham Hospice. If you're in the mood for a bit of dancing, it's a good excuse to get out and do it; if you'd rather just sit back and listen, that works too.

The venue is the Great Barr Conservative Club, 6A Newton Road, Great Barr, B43 6BN, a private members club close to the Scott Arms. It's known for a friendly atmosphere and competitive bar prices, and the function room seats 120. The room is also let to members and their guests for private parties, funerals and christenings, and is bookable by members' friends and family. While it exists principally for adult members, affiliated members and guests are warmly welcomed.

Tickets start from £14.50 and are available behind the bar or by calling 0121 357 4771. The afternoon kicks off at 14:00 on Sunday 6 December.
