Free 90s and Noughties themed Halloween party at The Old Crown in Deritend.
The Old Crown is hosting a 90s and Noughties Halloween party on Saturday 31 October, so if you're still looking for something to do on Halloween night, this is a good shout. It's a double-decade theme, which means you can pull from the nineties and the noughties — the 1990s and the 2000s — so there's plenty of ground to cover for a costume.
It's a Halloween party, so the dress code is the main thing to keep in mind. The 90s and 00s cover a lot of territory: Britpop, rave, the early pop-punk era, the rise of the boy bands, and the dancefloor fillers that defined the turn of the millennium. Whether you go for something recognisable from the music of the time or something completely different, the theme gives you a fair bit of room to work with.
The party kicks off at 19:00 on Saturday 31 October and runs through until Sunday 1 November, so it's a late one. It's held at The Old Crown, 188 High Street, Deritend, Birmingham, B12 0LD, right in the heart of the city. Entry is free, so you can just turn up without worrying about tickets or booking ahead.
