Gala evening with drinks reception, silver service dining, live entertainment, the awards presentation and a DJ, marking a decade of the Elders Awards.
The Elders Awards return to Alexander Stadium on Saturday 14 November, marking the tenth edition of the ceremony. Presented by Ur Gateway CIC, the awards celebrate people beyond retirement age whose selfless dedication, wisdom and service continue to strengthen communities and inspire future generations. Over the last ten years, the awards have recognised and honoured these 'unsung heroes' of the community, and this tenth edition marks a decade of honouring remarkable elders who make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
The evening is run as a gala, so it's more than just the awards themselves. It kicks off with a drinks reception, followed by silver service dining and live entertainment. The awards presentation is the main event, and there's a grand raffle to go with it. A DJ closes the night on the dance floor, so the evening carries on well after the trophies have been handed out.
