Free drop-in social session for adults to knit, crochet, cross stitch and share patterns at Finaghy Library.
Knit and Natter runs every Wednesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Finaghy Library in Belfast. It's a drop-in session for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts, so you can bring along a project you're already working on or start something new from scratch.
The group is as much about the chat as the crafting. You'll find people sharing hints and tips, swapping patterns, and meeting new people, and it's a good place to pick up new skills if you're still finding your feet with a particular stitch. Because it's a drop-in, there's no need to book or commit to a long course — you just turn up when you can.
It's one of the free social and creative groups run by Libraries NI across Northern Ireland, alongside things like Rhythm and Rhyme, Storytime, Lego Club, Tea and Newspapers and Go On computer classes. If you're already popping into the library for one of those, this is an easy one to add to your week.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Belfast and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
