Second edition of the Wizard Rodeo music festival featuring indie and alternative acts at The Long Time in Austin.
Wizard Rodeo returns to The Long Time on Saturday, December 5, with a full day of live music. This is the second edition of the festival, the first being back in 2023, so it's been a few years since the last one.
The lineup this time around is a long one, with thirteen acts scheduled to play. You'll find Buttercup, Garrett T. Capps & Nasa Country, Girl in a Coma, Hexpartner, Jana Horn, Jo Schornikow, Joey Reyes, Little Mazarn, Magnolia & Johnson Electric Co., Phosphorescent, Styrofoam Winos, and Virginia Creeper. That's a lot of ground to cover in a single day, and the variety across the bill runs from the singer-songwriter side of things to full-band sets.
If you've been around the Austin scene for a while, you'll recognize a few of these names. Phosphorescent is the biggest draw on the bill, and Girl in a Coma has been a fixture here for years. The rest of the lineup fills in around them, with a mix of local acts and touring artists. With thirteen names on the poster, it's the kind of day where you can pick your favorites and hang out for a few hours or stay from the first set through to the end.
