A wing-eating contest with eight contestants, where the winner receives free wings for a year, followed by weekly Chicken Sh*t Bingo.
Victory Lap Rainey is celebrating National Chicken Wing Day on Wednesday, July 29, with a wing-eating contest and their usual mid-week bingo. The whole thing runs from 6 PM to 9 PM at 85 Rainey Street, and it's free to get in.
The main event is the wing-eating competition, which kicks off at 6:45 PM. Eight selected contestants go head-to-head, working through wings from Side Piece Pies. The stakes are exactly what you'd hope for: the winner walks away with free wings for a year. If you're not one of the eight competing, you've still got a front-row seat to watch them go for it.
Once the contest wraps up, the night keeps moving. At 7 PM, the venue shifts into its weekly Chicken Sh*t Bingo, so you can hang out and play a few rounds after the eating is done. Between the two, you've got a full evening of wings and bingo on a Wednesday night.
