College football game between the Texas Longhorns and the UTSA Roadrunners at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
The Texas Longhorns take on UTSA at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 19, with kickoff at 7 PM. It's a night game in Austin, so you'll be heading to the stadium at 2139 San Jacinto Blvd.
If you're driving, you'll want to plan ahead. Gameday parking around DKR is notoriously tricky, and it's a bit more complicated this year: TxDOT construction has closed major sections of I-35, and the Dobie Center Garage shut down for good back in May 2024. If you're taking a rideshare, the official drop-off and pick-up zone is at the Lot 40 intersection on the south curb of Dean Keeton Street, between Robert Dedman Drive and Red River Street. That's your best bet for getting in and out without the headache.
Inside the stadium, there are a few rules to keep in mind. The University of Texas is a 100% tobacco-free campus, and they enforce a strict clear-bag policy, so make sure whatever you're carrying fits the bill. Also, strollers are completely prohibited inside the stadium, so leave yours at home or at the car.

And a heads-up for the ride back: the post-game experience is a bit of a logistical buzzsaw. Campus police convert major arteries into one-way streets to flush traffic away from the stadium, so don't expect a quick exit. Give yourself plenty of time to get clear of the area. The game kicks off at 7 PM on Saturday, September 19, at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
