Residency night with Tuskola and various local acts at Hole in the Wall, every Wednesday in August.
Tuskola is taking over Hole in the Wall every Wednesday in August, with the first night on August 5. It's a residency, so instead of one date, they'll be back at the same spot on August 12, 19, and 26. If you're around on a Wednesday night this month, you've got four chances to catch them.
It's part of the venue's midweek series, which has been keeping the room active throughout the summer. Just before this, Quinn Decker held down every Tuesday in July, so the handoff from one residency to the next keeps the music going well into the work week. Tuskola takes the lead for August, with other local acts filling out the bills.
On August 12, Gilded Lows and The Mammoths join the lineup, so that night brings a few more bands to the stage. The rest of the month stays focused on Tuskola, with the residency format giving them the room to play multiple times rather than just one show and a quick exit. If you've seen them before, it's a good excuse to go back; if you haven't, you can pick whichever Wednesday works best for you.

Doors open at 8 PM, and Tuskola takes the stage at 10 PM, so there's plenty of time to grab a drink and settle in before the main set. Tickets are $10, and the nights are 21 and over. Hole in the Wall is at 2538 Guadalupe St. in Austin.
