The space itself has some history, too—it was established in 2006 by Larry McGuire, Tom Moorman Jr., and Will Bridges in the revamped J.P. Schneider Store, which dates back to 1873. So you're getting a show in a building that's been standing since the 19th century, with a barbecue pit running downstairs while the music goes on upstairs.
