Live music performance by Tiger Alley at the Lamberts venue in Austin Downtown.
Tiger Alley plays Lamberts on Thursday, August 13, with the set running from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It's a mid-week show in downtown Austin, so you can catch it and still be home for dinner, or make a whole evening of it.
If you haven't spent much time there, Lamberts is at 401 W. Second, right in the heart of downtown. It's a double act: a barbecue joint downstairs and a bar upstairs, with a stage for nightly live music, local beers, and slow-smoked barbecue. The space itself has some history, too—it was established in 2006 by Larry McGuire, Tom Moorman Jr., and Will Bridges in the revamped J.P. Schneider Store, which dates back to 1873. So you're getting a show in a building that's been standing since the 19th century, with a barbecue pit running downstairs while the music goes on upstairs.

That's the setup for the night: Tiger Alley on the stage, the bar open around them, and the barbecue joint just a floor below. The music runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, so it's an early start and an early finish, which works well if you're coming from work or want to head home early. If you're planning to eat, you can grab some barbecue downstairs before the set starts or keep it as your post-show meal. The show is on Thursday, August 13, at Lamberts, 401 W. Second, Austin Downtown, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
