Live music performance by Tiger Alley at the Lamberts venue in downtown Austin.
Tiger Alley plays Lamberts on Saturday, July 25, with the set running from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It's a single-act bill, so they're the only name on the program for the night.
If you haven't spent much time there, Lamberts is downtown at 401 W. Second, and it's a two-story spot with a bit of history. The building dates back to 1873 and was the J.P. Schneider Store before Larry McGuire, Tom Moorman Jr., and Will Bridges opened the place in 2006. It's split right down the middle: a barbecue joint downstairs and an upstairs bar and lounge with its own stage. That's where the music happens, and it's where you'll find Tiger Alley on Saturday. The upstairs also serves local beers and slow-smoked barbecue, and the venue has picked up the Austin Chronicle's Poll Winner and First Plates awards over the years.

Since the show is upstairs, you'll be in the bar and lounge area rather than the downstairs dining room. It's a good spot to grab a drink and a plate of barbecue before the music starts, and you can stay there through the set. The show runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, so it's an early evening one that wraps up well before midnight. If you're planning to eat downstairs first, just leave yourself enough time to head up to the lounge before they kick off.
