A family-friendly morning music and dancing event presented by The Breakfast Boogie, featuring live performances from The Strawbitty Yops and Hot Toast Music Co.
The Strawbitty Yops and Hot Toast Music Co. are playing Radio/East on Saturday, July 25, for a morning of music and dancing called The Kindness Cool Off. It's presented by Breakfast Boogie, and the whole thing is built around the idea of getting kids and families moving early in the day rather than late at night.
Both bands are known for their family-friendly approach, and they'll be sharing the bill on a morning when the music is the main draw. The event is organized in partnership with Spare The Rock Spoil The Child and KUTX, so it's got some local support behind it. If you're bringing kids, it's the kind of thing that works well on a Saturday morning—live music and dancing while the day is still young.
Food is handled on-site by a few different vendors, so you don't have to worry about breakfast or lunch before or after. Vera Cruz Tacos, Shortwave Diner, and Wow Poké will all be there, which gives you a decent spread to choose from regardless of what you're in the mood for. Between the music and the food, it's set up as a full morning out rather than just a quick set.
