The Good Times and Hole in the Wall are teaming up for an 80s night on Sunday, July 26, at the venue's Guadalupe Street spot. They're calling it "'80s NIGHT at the Hole," and it's built around the decade's biggest acts, so the dance floor should be pretty full.
DJ Blake is handling the music, and the set is focused on the 80s. The names they've put forward as examples are The Cure, New Order, The Cars, Talking Heads, INXS and David Bowie—a mix of post-punk, new wave, and pop that covers a good chunk of the decade's sound. If those are the kinds of records you're looking for, you'll find plenty of them here.
It's a night for dancing, not a seated show, so come ready to move. The whole thing is strictly 18+.
