Punk rock band The Damned perform their Final Damnation 50 tour at Radio/East, with special guests The Flamin' Groovies and The Courettes.
The Damned play Radio/East on Friday, November 6, as part of their Final Damnation tour. It's a long way from the early punk days in London, but they're still out there doing it. The tour is billed as Final Damnation, and the Austin stop is presented by Resound.
They aren't coming alone. The bill includes special guests The Flamin' Groovies and The Courettes, so it's a full night of three bands rather than just one. The Groovies bring their own long history of garage rock and R&B, and The Courettes round out the lineup. Between the three of them, you've got a whole evening of music to work through before the headliner even takes the stage.

Radio/East is at 3504 Montopolis Dr, just east of downtown. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8:30 PM, so you've got a good window to get in, grab a drink, and settle in before the first band kicks off. If you're coming from across town, that 90-minute gap between doors and showtime gives you plenty of room to make it without rushing.
