The Cookie Crawl

The Cookie Crawl takes over Austin Beer Garden Brewery on Sunday, August 16, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The premise is as simple as it sounds: a lineup of Austin's local bakers set up under one roof, and you spend a Sunday afternoon tasting your way through the room. You crawl from table to table, discovering new favorite bakers and grabbing a cold one along the way.

Your ticket gets you six cookies from local bakers, and there are gluten-free options available, so you can keep sampling even if you're avoiding wheat. The whole thing is pitched as an all-ages, family-friendly afternoon, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids along for. Between the tables, you'll find the brewery's beer on tap, and since it's a crawl, you can pace yourself—a cookie, a sip, and then on to the next baker.
