The 36th annual tribute to John Lennon performed by The #9 Orchestra at ACL Live at 3TEN.
The #9 Orchestra is taking the stage at ACL Live at 3TEN on Saturday, November 28, for the 36th annual tribute to John Lennon. It's a long-running tradition in Austin, and this year's edition marks the 36th time the city has come together to play through Lennon's songs.
The evening is built around the music of John Lennon, with The #9 Orchestra handling the performance. The orchestra's name is a nod to the number nine, a recurring figure in Lennon's life and work, and the set is dedicated to his catalog. It's a night for the songs themselves, played by a full ensemble rather than a small band.
