Texas Longhorns volleyball match against Mississippi State at Gregory Gymnasium.
Texas Volleyball takes on Mississippi State at Gregory Gym on Friday, Oct. 2. It's one of the Longhorns' home matches this fall, part of a conference slate that spans fifteen games—eight at home and seven on the road.
This match is a piece of a larger SEC conference schedule that the program announced back on April 22. The conference run builds toward the Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament, which returns to Savannah, Georgia, from Nov. 20 to 24 at Enmarket Arena. By the time the Longhorns face Mississippi State in Austin, they'll be well into that fifteen-game stretch.
Before conference play even kicks off, Texas has a busy non-conference stretch. They open the season at the AVCA First Serve in Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum, face Marquette, compete in the second annual Sprouts Farmers Market Broadway Block Party in Nashville, and host Wisconsin at Moody Center. The Mississippi State match on Oct. 2 comes after that early-season run, once the conference schedule is in full swing.
