An immersive multidisciplinary performance blending dance, vocals, drag and storytelling, guided by drag queen Basura.
VIBE Entertainment Group brings Supernatural to the Ground Floor Theatre in East Austin, with five performances running from Saturday, October 17 through Saturday, October 24. It's an immersive multidisciplinary show that pulls together dance, vocals, drag and storytelling, all guided by the performer Basura.
On stage, those elements don't just sit side by sideβthey collide. The production blends dance and vocal performance with drag artistry and a narrative thread, and Basura leads the audience through a world populated by angels, vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, spirits and sirens. It's a lot to fit into one show, and the immersive format means you're pulled into the atmosphere rather than just watching it from a seat.
One night stands out from the rest: Thursday, October 22 is Breast Cancer Awareness Night. That performance is dedicated to breast cancer survivors and includes testimonies from survivors, with representatives from the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas on site. If that's the night you're eyeing, it's a different kind of evening than the others.
