Summer Stock Austin's Sneak Peek 2026

Summer Stock Austin kicks off its 22nd season with a one-night-only showcase at the McCullough Theatre on Monday, July 20. The show, called Sneak Peek 2026, brings together alumni and current company members for a high-energy evening of songs and dance numbers from nearly 20 musicals. It's a one-off, so this is the only night it plays.

While the set pulls from a wide range of shows, two get the most attention: Disney's Newsies and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (the Enchanted Edition). The rest of the evening is a mix of numbers from across the musical theater canon, so you'll hear a lot of different styles in a single night rather than one story played out from start to finish. It's a showcase, not a full production, which means the focus is on the individual songs and dance numbers.

Beyond the music, there's a bit of a preview built into the night. The showcase gives a first look at the 2026 season ahead, and it also spotlights stories the company hopes to bring to life in future seasons.
