Impact Arts presents an enchanted edition of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at McCullough Theatre, a vibrant reimagining of the classic fairy tale.
Impact Arts is bringing Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Enchanted Edition) to the McCullough Theatre this summer, part of their Summer Stock Austin series. It runs from Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, August 9, with ten performances in total. The final show is Sunday, August 9, at 1 PM.
This isn't the fairy tale you grew up with. It's a fresh reimagining of the classic, drawing inspiration from the 1997 musical that starred Brandy and Whitney Houston. The music is by Richard Rodgers, with book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and this particular stage version was adapted by Tom Briggs from the teleplay by Robert L. Freedman. The production follows Cinderella as she realizes she doesn't have to wait for life to happen to her, but has the power to shape it herself—a thread that carries through the show and touches on courage, hope, and the idea that dreams are only the beginning.

Texas Performing Arts is presenting the production at the McCullough Theatre, located inside the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 2375 Robert Dedman Drive. Season show tickets run from $26.60 to $57.60, all-in pricing. Individual tickets for the Season Sneak Peek start at $28.80, and there are $26.40 rush tickets available one hour before each performance, though those don't apply to the preview, opening, or closing weekends. There are also discounts for seniors, students, military members, and educators, and a 'Buy 3, get 1 free' offer on most nights.
