SCUFF brings queer country dancing to Cheer Up Charlies on Saturday, July 25, with Bailey Salisbury and DJ Virgo Cowboy leading the night. It's a beginner-friendly session of line dancing and two-stepping, and you don't need a partner or any prior experience to get on the floor. The whole thing is built around accessibility: line dance lessons run at 8:45 PM and 10:30 PM, so you can jump in whenever you're ready, and the floor stays open for requests all night. If you've never two-stepped before, those lesson slots are a good place to start.
Between the lessons, the music keeps going, and the floor remains open for dancing. Since it's a queer country night, it's as much about the community as it is about the steps.
