A rally and fundraiser for the Texas Hemp Business Council featuring live music, murals, a marketplace and a silent auction, with food and drinks.
The Texas Hemp Business Council is hosting the Save Texas Hemp Rally at HOPE Outdoor Gallery on Thursday, August 20, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. It's a fundraiser and a networking event rolled into one, and every ticket goes toward the Council's work.
For those who aren't familiar, the Council is a non-profit advocacy organization that fights for the continued legality of hemp in Texas through advocacy, education, and legal action. They frame the fight as far from over, and the rally brings together hemp businesses, advocates, consumers, veterans, patients, and supporters to build momentum for the industry's future in the state. The evening runs for three and a half hours, and since it's as much about networking as it is about fundraising, you'll be able to meet pro-hemp candidates and elected officials and hear the latest updates on the Texas hemp industry.
The setting adds its own thing to the night. There will be live muralists working on the walls and live music from local artists, along with a marketplace of hemp brands and local vendors. Food and drinks will be on hand, and there's a silent auction and raffle prizes to get into. You'll also have the chance to spray paint the gallery's legendary walls yourself. It's an over-21s event, so keep that in mind before you head out.
