Sahara Smith hails from Wimberley, Texas, and he's bringing his full band into the city for this one. If you're not familiar with the name, he's a Hill Country songwriter who's spent plenty of time playing around the region, and this set puts him and his band on a proper stage in Austin.
Ani's Day & Night is a weekly nightlife hub on East Riverside Drive that keeps its calendar full with a rotating roster of themed nights and community events. On any given week, you'll find Trivia with Tim on Mondays, a Clip Show & Comedy Open Mic hosted by Charlie G on Thursdays, Cumbia Night on the second Friday of the month, Tropicália Nights on the third Saturday, and Sabor Sundays on the last Sunday. They also host pop-up markets and other community gatherings, so it's the kind of place that changes depending on when you drop in.
