Metal music night with live bands including Sabbath Crow, Bridge Farmers, Asylum and TRTRS, plus an open-fire goat roast by Drew Gamino.
Sagebrush is hosting the Heavy Goat Roast on Saturday, August 8, in Austin. It's a metal night that pairs a run of live bands with an open-fire goat roast tended by Drew Gamino. The organizers have it billed as "Tacos for the metal heads!", and that's pretty much the whole thing in a nutshell: loud music and a whole goat roasting over a fire.
The lineup runs through the night with TORTURES, Bridge Farmers, Sabbath Crow, and Sagebrush themselves. The goat roast is the other half of the equation, with Drew Gamino tending the fire throughout the evening. Between the bands and the roasting, there's plenty of room to hang out and eat while the music keeps going.
