Rooftop Happy Hour

Neon Grotto runs its rooftop happy hour every Thursday through Sunday, from 4 PM to 7 PM, at 318 Colorado St in downtown Austin. It's a late-afternoon window that stays open across the whole weekend, so you can drop in on a Thursday after work or keep it going through Sunday evening.

The drinks are the main draw here. Well drinks are $3, and if you're in the mood for something a bit more substantial, Bloody Marys and Micheladas go for $5. There's also a $6 beer and shot combo, which is a classic way to kick off a night out in the city. Between the well drinks and the combos, you can put together a few rounds without spending much.

Because it runs four days a week, it's more of a regular spot than a one-off event.
