Queer two-step night with social dancing and lessons at Sagebrush, 21+ with $10 cover.
Sagebrush hosts a queer two-step night on Monday, July 27, with social dancing and lessons. It's a 21+ event, and the music runs from 7 PM to 11 PM.
Ed West is the main feature for the night, and he's joined by Beth Chrisman and Missy Beth & the Morning Afters. The lessons are part of the evening, so if you've never tried two-stepping, you can get a handle on the basics before the social dancing takes over. If you already know your way around the floor, you can skip the instruction and go straight to the dancing.
It's a queer-focused night, so the space is set up for the LGBTQ+ community to dance together. The social dancing part is just that—open floor for whoever wants to get out there, with the music keeping things moving through the night. Between the lessons and the open dancing, there's plenty of room to either learn from scratch or just spend the evening on the floor.
