A six-session online workshop focused on deep feedback and the revision of existing poems, led by poet Hollie Hardy.
Hollie Hardy is leading a six-session Poetry Revision Workshop that runs on alternating Thursdays from August 13 through October 22, 2026. It's an online series held over Zoom, so you can join from home rather than heading out to a venue. Each session runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM Central Time.
The focus here is on deep feedback and the revision of existing poems, with the goal of evolving and refining your work toward publication. It's set up as a supportive online environment where you can get a second set of eyes on what you've already written. New work is welcome if you want to bring it, but it's not required—the whole point is to take poems you've already started and push them further.
Hardy is a writer, educator, and the author of two poetry books: Lions Like Us (Red Light Lit Press, 2024) and How to Take a Bullet: And Other Survival Poems (Punk Hostage Press, 2014), which won the Annual Poetry Center Book Award at San Francisco State University. She holds an MFA in Poetry from SFSU, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her work has appeared in journals like Alchemy, Caesura, Colossus, The Common, and Fourteen Hills. She lives here in Austin, where she founded Praxis Poetry and hosts the Saturday Night Special open mic.
