ACL Fest night with Claire Rosinkranz presenting her album My Lover, with Abby Powledge.
Claire Rosinkranz plays ACL Live at 3TEN on Saturday, October 10, as part of the Official 2026 ACL Fest Nights. She's bringing along Abby Powledge, and the set centers on her sophomore album, My Lover.
Rosinkranz is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who wrote every song on the record, drawing in collaborators like Eddie Benjamin. She describes My Lover as using the garden as a guiding metaphor for the cycles of life and death. One track, "Chronic," looks back at a health crisis that brought her to a standstill when she was 19. It's a record that pulls from a few different places: her classical training, her family's musical history, and a period of forced stillness.
That family history runs deep. Her father is an Icelandic classically trained composer and violinist who also works as her lead producer and engineer; her grandmother was an opera singer; another grandmother taught music; and her mother is a musician. Rosinkranz herself studied classical music and classical ballet before she moved into the songwriting she's known for now. Her 2020 release "Backyard Boy" went viral and has since driven nearly two billion career streams.
