Pre-tour warm-up show of Nice Strong Arm with Knife in the Water, Ewe, and Gerard Cosloy.
Nice Strong Arm are back at 29th Street Ballroom on Saturday, August 29, for a reunion show that doubles as a pre-tour warm-up. It's their first time playing the room since they've been back together, and the bill is a full one: Knife in the Water, Ewe, and Gerard Cosloy all open for them.
Since this is a warm-up for a tour, you'll get them in a smaller room before they head out on the road. It's a good way to see how the set is coming together before it hits the larger stages. The reunion itself is the main draw here, and having three openers means the night stretches across a few different acts rather than just one band taking the stage.
As for the openers, Knife in the Water and Ewe round out the bill alongside Gerard Cosloy, so there's plenty to work through before Nice Strong Arm takes over. The whole thing is happening at 29th Street Ballroom, which is run by the same team behind Hotel Vegas, Kinda Tropical, Tweedy's, Little Darlin', CHESS CLUB, Yellow Jacket Social Club, and Resound Presents. They describe the place as "your second living room" — loud music, cold drinks, and warm food, a spot for everyone that pays tribute to what's come before and what's coming next.
