Queer two-step and linedance social with live music, dancing demo, and hosting, featuring drag performances and a vendor market.
Neon Rainbows bring their queer honky-tonk to Sagebrush on Monday, August 17, for a Pride social. It's built around queer two-stepping and linedancing, and it's a social rather than a class: no lessons, all dancing. The music comes from RANDEEN and Libby & the Loveless, with S'QUEER on the dance floor, a demo by Erica Nix, and Lawrie Bird hosting.
Beyond the music and dancing, the night includes drag performances and a vendor market with Vintage Texan, Skull and Crossbones Leather, and TNL Supply. There's also free cake. It's a Pride social aimed at Austin's Pride Month, so the whole thing is geared toward the city's queer community.
