Weekend of NASCAR racing with the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix, featuring a fan zone, observation tower and camping.
NASCAR returns to Circuit of The Americas from March 5 to 7, 2027, marking its seventh consecutive year in Austin. It's a full weekend of racing, with the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series taking the track on Friday, March 5, and the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix—the Cup Series race—serving as the main event on Sunday, March 7.
If you've never been to COTA for a race, it's worth knowing how the weekend is set up. The Sunday Cup race is the big one, run across the circuit's seventeen turns, and the rest of the weekend is built around the fan experience. There's a fan zone, an observation tower, and onsite camping, and you can get out onto the racing surface and close to the drivers. It's a lot more than just watching from a grandstand.
