Monday Pinball League

The Pinballz Monday League is back for Season 2 at The Original Pinballz Arcade (8940 Research Blvd), running every Monday from August 3 through September 14, 2026, at 7:30 PM. It's open to players of all experience levels, so you don't need to be a seasoned pro to jump in. If Monday doesn't work for you, there's a Sunday League that plays at 4:00 PM.

The league is IFPA-certified, which means your results count toward official pinball player rankings and all play follows IFPA player conduct rules. The format runs through six weekly qualifying rounds in groups of four with Swiss-style pairing. First place earns seven points, second five, third three, and fourth one. To keep things fair, your two lowest weekly scores are dropped, so one or two off nights won't knock you out of the running. A seventh week then decides everything in a double-elimination finals night, with the top three finishers sharing the prize pool.

Entry is $10 per week, which covers your gameplay, your contribution to the prize pool, and the IFPA sanctioning fees. You'll need a ticket for each week you attend. If you're looking for a regular Monday night spot in Austin, this is a good way to get some competitive play in without needing to be a master of the flippers.
