Mexican Independence Day celebration with a Latin vendor market, mariachi, ballet folklorico, food trucks and a beer release.
St. Elmo Brewing Company - Springdale is hosting a Mexican Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, September 16, from 5 PM to 8 PM. It's a mid-week party, so it's more of an after-work thing than a late-night one, and it's free to attend.
The evening centers on a few different things happening at once. There's a Latin Vendor Market, so you can browse and shop from local vendors while you're there. On the music side, DJ Mijo Grande will be spinning, and the Akins Mariachi Band will be playing live. There's also a performance by the Guzman Ballet Folklorico, so you'll get to see traditional dance alongside the music. Food trucks will be on site, too, which means you can grab a meal without leaving the brewery.

St. Elmo is also timing this with a beer release, so there'll be a new brew to try while the music and dancing are going on. Between the market, the mariachi, the ballet, and the food trucks, there's plenty to do if you're just hanging out for a few hours. It's all happening at 8110 Springdale Road, and since it's free to get in, you can just show up when you're ready. The whole thing runs from 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 16.
