Concert by Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter Maggie Rose, recorded for the Austin City Limits television series.
Maggie Rose plays ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Monday, August 24, as part of the Austin City Limits series. It's a taping, so the show is being recorded for the program.
Rose is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and one of Americana's most recognized voices. She's coming off a strong run: back-to-back GRAMMY nominations for her 2024 album No One Gets Out Alive and her 2025 collaboration with Grace Potter, Poison In My Well, plus an Emerging Act of the Year nod from the Americana Music Association in 2025. She's also a regular on the Grand Ole Opry, with more than 100 appearances, and hosts the podcast Salute the Songbird.
The timing of this show is worth noting. Her new album, Half Moon, comes out August 14, produced by Lawrence Rothman and Daniel Tashian. She wrote and recorded it with them during intimate writing sessions, and she was eight months pregnant when they started. The record arrives ten days before this date, so you'll be hearing it fresh.
