Madam Radar

Madam Radar play Pershing Hall on Saturday, September 26, their first Austin show in a while. It's a local rock band, and the lineup is built around a family core: Kelly Green on lead and slide guitar and vocals, Jace Cadle on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Violet Lea on bass and vocals. They're backed by drummer Kody Lee, who also plays saxophone and sings, so there's a horn in the mix along with the guitars.

They've spent the last few years building a name around that family chemistry, and it's landed them on the same stage as Bon Jovi, Lukas Nelson, Candlebox, 3 Doors Down, Hayes Carll, and Jackie Venson. They're a two-time Sonic Guild grant recipient and made history as the first Austin-based act to play the Moody Center, so they've played a fair range of rooms across the city.

Their discography gives you a good sense of where they're coming from. SPEAKS came out on July 30, 2022, and produced the breakout single "Hands." Their third studio record, MOTEL, followed on May 16, 2025—a road-worn, soul-filled album they made with Grammy-winning collaborators Steve Berlin and Michael Brauer. Between the two, you'll hear the band moving from the early breakout into the more seasoned sound of the newer material.

The show is presented by Pershing Hall, located at 2415 East 5th Street, and it's open to all ages. Doors open at 7 PM, with the music starting at 8 PM.
