Lyle Lovett and his Small Large Band

Lyle Lovett is playing ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 8 PM. He's performing with his Small Large Band, one of the different lineups he's toured with throughout his career.

Lovett is a singer, composer, and actor based here in Texas, and he's put out 14 albums since his self-titled debut in 1986. His music pulls from country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues, and it's hard to pin it down to just one of those. He's toured in several different configurations over the years—from a duo and an acoustic group to the Large Band—so the Small Large Band is one of the ways he's taken his songs on the road.

He's picked up four Grammy Awards along the way, the Americana Music Association's inaugural Trailblazer Award, and he's been named Texas State Musician. The show is at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, starting at 8 PM on Saturday, November 21.
