Interplanetary Help Desk performs The Beatles' albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road and Let It Be in full, with 100% of ticket sales supporting Austin nonprofits.
Interplanetary Help Desk is taking over the Chess Club on Friday, August 7, for a Beatles album party that runs from 6 PM to 9 PM. They're playing Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road, and Let It Be in their entirety, one after another. That's four of the Beatles' most famous records played through in full, and the organizers describe it as a chance to hear what they call arguably the greatest records ever recorded played at maximum volume.
The night is part of Let's Fund Good!, Interplanetary Help Desk's summer series, which consists of six live concerts and six album parties. Across the whole series, 100% of ticket sales go to 24 Austin nonprofits, and when you buy a ticket, you get to choose which organization your purchase supports. This particular party is one of the album dates in that mix.
