Concert featuring Left to Suffer, Dying Fetus, Sanguisugabogg and Crowbar at Emo's Austin.
Left to Suffer are playing Emo's Austin on Thursday, October 15, and they're bringing a full bill with them. The Atlanta band formed in 2019 and plays what they call 'nu-deathcore'—a mix of deathcore, metalcore, and nu metal. They've put out three records so far: A Year of Suffering in 2020, Feral in 2023, and Leap of Death in 2024.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Joining them is Dying Fetus, the Maryland grindcore and tech-death band led by John Gallagher, known for Billboard-charting tracks like 'Reign Supreme' and 'Wrong One.' Then there's Sanguisugabogg from Columbus, Ohio, who play a brutal death metal style they describe as 'caveman,' with Tortured Whole, Homicidal Ecstasy, and Hideous Aftermath in their catalog. And rounding things out is Crowbar, formed in 1990 by Kirk Windstein and Jimmy Bower, who are recognized as pioneers of sludge metal.
