Susan G. Komen's signature fundraising walkathon to end breast cancer, bringing together survivors, families and supporters for a 1.5-mile walk.
Susan G. Komen brings the 2026 Komen Austin More Than Pink Walk to Barton Creek Square on Sunday, October 25. It's the Austin edition of Komen's signature fundraising walk to end breast cancer, and it's one of those mornings where the whole point is to show up with your people.
The morning starts with the survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer walking together into the opening ceremony through the 'Pathway of Hope.' From there, the walk itself is 1.5 miles, and the course is dotted with Hope Village—a space for survivors and their guests with food, drinks, and activities. You'll also find Hope the ShareForCures Unicorn, a character who connects people to ShareForCures, Komen's research registry. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, so you can bring the kids and the pets along.
Komen is the world's leading breast cancer organization, and the money raised here goes toward lifesaving research, patient care, treatment assistance, advocacy, and government funding for patient rights. They also promote 'Breast Honesty™', their push for open conversations about breast health.
