Josie Dynamite headlines Flamingo Cantina on Friday, October 9, with Cool Under Fire and The Royal Space Chimps opening. It's a reggae and ska night on East 6th, and the bill runs late into the early hours, with doors opening at 9 PM and the music going until 2 AM.
The night is built around three acts, each with its own slot. The Royal Space Chimps kick things off at 9:30 PM, followed by Cool Under Fire at 10:45 PM. Josie Dynamite takes the stage at midnight, which puts the main set right in the middle of the night rather than the start of it. Flamingo Cantina is at 515 E 6th St, right in the heart of downtown. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door, so it's a cheap one if you grab yours early. With the music running from 9:30 PM to 2 AM, it's a long stretch of a night, and the headliner doesn't even start until midnight.
