In Rainbows and Magnifico are playing The Far Out Lounge & Stage on Friday, October 9, from 8 PM to 11:45 PM. It's a double bill of tribute acts: In Rainbows on Radiohead and Magnifico on Queen.
In Rainbows bills itself as Austin's premier Radiohead tribute, and they don't stick to just the hits. They work through the whole catalog, from the well-known singles to the deep cuts, with the stage presence and production put together by veterans of the Austin live music scene. If you're into the band, it's a good chance to hear the songs you know alongside the ones that usually stay on the record.
Magnifico handles the Queen side of the night, playing the hits and the deep cuts with charisma and intensity. He's shared the stage with Weird Al Yankovic and Reggie Watts and has played the Long Center, SXSW, and Fusebox Festival, as well as weddings, crowded barrooms, and Hollywood premieres. Between the two, you'll get a full evening of two very different catalogs in one night.
