Hip hop showcase Labor of Love presented by Ideal Collective in Austin, featuring local and visiting acts with food and a 21+ policy.
Ideal Collective is putting on a hip hop showcase called Labor of Love at Flamingo Cantina on Friday, September 4. It runs from 9 PM into the early hours of Saturday morning, and the organizers frame it as a night of passion to kick off Labor Day weekend. The bill brings together local Austin hip hop and visiting acts from San Antonio, so you'll hear artists from both cities on the same stage.
Ideal Collective's own Rowski and Salus Herb open things up with solo sets. From there, the local side of the lineup fills out with Grim Village, Nuff Said, GSmith, and Guru Kozy. The San Antonio contingent adds Block Hill and Meet the Greens to the mix, and AbstractAMCR is on the 1's and 2's throughout the night.
