Underground rap performance by Kill Bill: The Rapper with special guest Ashtin Larold at The Far Out Lounge.
Kill Bill: The Rapper brings his I Found The End Tour to The Far Out Lounge & Stage on Wednesday, August 26, with Ashtin Larold opening. It's a double bill of Philadelphia-based rap coming through Austin.
Kill Bill: The Rapper is a Philadelphia artist born in Charleston, South Carolina, who's been a fixture of the underground lofi rap scene for more than a decade. He's often described as "underground rap's own kaiju," a nod to the deep rasp he brings to his delivery. The lyrics lean emotional and hard-hitting, and he's built a long run in the underground without needing a major label behind him. His last solo release, put out completely independently, still managed to chart in the Billboard top 50.
Ashtin Larold handles the opening slot. He's also Philadelphia-based, raised in South Jersey, and known for bouncy, hard-hitting production paired with sharp, bar-heavy lyricism. His style blends punchy, playful flows with an irreverent swagger, and he pulls in plenty of pop culture and anime references. Between the two, you've got a night that moves from Larold's high-energy, reference-heavy approach to Kill Bill's deeper, raspy sound.
