Lavender Scare headlines a four-band bill at Hotel Vegas & The Volstead Lounge on Wednesday, August 19, as part of a takeover presented by Luli Presents. They're the last of four acts on the bill, taking the stage at 11:30 PM.
Luli Presents is the non-profit music booking project of Wild Heaven lead singer Laura Blewitt. She started it to build lineups full of under-represented groups in music, with women, queer, non-binary, and BIPOC performers always prioritized. That's the through-line for the night: four different acts on one stage, all under that same umbrella.
The bill runs from early evening through the middle of the night. 2-Piece Denise opens at 9:30 PM, followed by The Modern Dread at 10:15 PM. Face takes over at 10:45 PM, and Lavender Scare closes things out at 11:30 PM. If you're coming for the headliner, you'll have three other sets to work through first, so it's a long one if you stick around for the whole thing.
