Foy Vance plays The 04 Center on Wednesday, March 31, 2027. He's touring The Wake, his seventh album and the final volume in a run that started with his 2007 debut, Hope.
That run includes The Wild Swan (2016), executive-produced by Elton John; From Muscle Shoals and To Memphis (2019), recorded at FAME Studios and Sam Phillips Recordings Studios; and Signs of Life (2021). The Wake was produced by Brit Award winner Ethan Johns, and Vance describes it as the completion of a decades-long journey informed by the loss of his father, a traveling preacher who moved the family to the American South when Vance was a baby. The Scotland-based artist is known for his gritty vocals and for blending folk, soul, and Southern blues.
