Faetooth w/ Latter & Bosses

Faetooth plays 29th Street Ballroom on Saturday, August 15, with Latter opening. The night is part of the Resound Presents series, which brings artists to venues and other spots across Austin and San Antonio.

Faetooth comes from Los Angeles, and Latter is based in Chicago. Both are touring through Texas this summer, and this is the date where they cross paths here in Austin. It's a double bill that pulls from two different cities, so you'll get two distinct sounds on one stage.

Resound Presents is run by a small team that focuses on live music across Central Texas, with a primary focus on bringing artists to venues and other unique locations in Austin and San Antonio, alongside creative marketing and design services for national and locally touring musicians. They've been booking shows across the region, and this one fits right into that.

29th Street Ballroom is a bar and venue run by the folks behind Hotel Vegas, Kinda Tropical, Tweedy's, Little Darlin', CHESS CLUB, and Yellow Jacket Social Club. They describe it as "your second living room" — solid hangs, loud music, cold drinks, and warm food. It's located at 2906 Fruth St. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $20.
