Album release show with Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Eli Menezes at The 04 Center.
Eli Menezes is playing an album release show at The 04 Center on Thursday, October 29, 2026. It's a night centered on his new record, and he'll be the only name on the bill.
Menezes is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer who's been based in Austin after a stretch in New York City. He moved from Rio to New York in the spring of 2000 and has traveled to more than 50 countries since then. Along the way, he's worked with a wide range of artists: Lauryn Hill, Richard Bona, Rita Ora, Faith Evans, Common, Ashanti, Estelle, Thalia, Fred Hammond, and David Bisbal. Outside of his solo work, he's a member of the soul-pop duo Gritty Sunset and the band FORQ, which is signed to Snarky Puppy's GroundUP Music label. He's also an active part of the Austin recording and live music scene.
He describes his music as combining sounds and influences from Brazil, New York, and Texas, backed by some of the best musicians in the world. That's the sound you'll hear on the new album and at this show.
